Editing Your Images full-day workshop through Horizon Photography Workshops
Editing is your opportunity to shine. Most photographers -- even pros -- don't edit their images tightly enough. Learn how to be more objective about your photographs, an essential step in becoming a better self-editor. Diane will show how to be your own best critic and biggest fan.
Using concrete examples, Diane will demonstrate how to edit for maximum impact -- whether you're choosing images for presentation, creating a web site, submitting pictures for publication, entering contests, building your files, and more.
She will review each student's images with a picture editor's eye and discuss whether your work is consistent with your goals.
Diane will also cover the requirements of the major image markets: editorial (newspapers, magazines and books), commercial (including calendar and greeting card companies), fine art, and stock photography. And she will explain how to reach buyers in those markets.
